Activité biologique

Description La Tetrandrine, un alcaloïde bis-benzylisoquinoléine dérivé de Stephania tetrandra, est un Calcium Channel blocker.

La Tetrandrine inhibe les courants calciques (Ca2+) voltage-dépendants avec une IC50 de 10,1 mM dans les terminaisons nerveuses isolées de la neurohypophyse de rat. Ce composé est un bloqueur de haute affinité du canal potassique (K+) activé par le Ca(2+) de type II, maxi, des terminaisons neurohypophysaires de rat avec une IC50 de 0,21 mM. Une autre étude montre qu'il inhibe également les courants chlorure (Cl-) activés par le Ca(2+) (I(Cl,Ca)) avec une IC50 de 5,2 mM. Ce produit chimique inhibe la prolifération des cellules leucémiques humaines HL-60 via l'induction de l'apoptose.

Validation du produit par le client

BMMs were seeded in a collage I-coated plate and incubated with RANKL (100 ng/ml) and M-CSF (50 ng/ml) for 5 d. When mature osteoclasts were observed, they were digested by collagenase and seeded on bovine bone slices. The bone slices were treated with or without tetrandrine for an additional 2 d. Then, the cells were stained with rhodamine–phalloidin to observe the F-actin rings, and the areas of F-actin rings were calculated by Image-Pro Plus 6.0 software.
